| 説明 | The BIMA Millimeter Array is a 10 antenna aperture synthesis telescope which operates at wavelengths of 3 mm (70-116 GHz) and 1 mm (210-270 GHz). The array is located at the Hat Creek Radio Observatory, 250 miles north of Berkeley. It is operated by the BIMA consortium, consisting of the Radio Astronomy Laboratory of the University of California at Berkeley, the Laboratory for Astronomical Imaging of the University of Illinois, and the Laboratory for Millimeter Astronomy of the University of Maryland, with support from the National Science Foundation.astro.berkeley.edu/~plambeck/BIMAdocs/technical.htmllt 030 |
