| 説明 | Assignment: pca152 – Multiple Exposure II WIT My camera doesn't feature multiple exposure, so i did post processing of two photos with a GIMP grain merge (opacity 50%). The building from the spying women is actually the building on the left side. I combined these two photos because it made me start thinking of the story behind it. - I did a GIMP darla Contrast Fix on the image with the couple (that was a belly shot against the sun)- I did a GIMP perspective correction so all vertical lines were more or less aligned in the two photos.- I did a heavy vignetting to simulate the binocular sight. - Since the image with the spying woman was almost colorless, and the second was colorful I desaturated everything with a GIMP desaturate by lightness (otherwise the colored version dominated the result too much) . Assignment:This is a two week assignment. The goal is to compose an image that is the result of two images combined. This is a technique that has been practiced for a long time on film to remarkable effect and it took a lot of patience and understanding of exposure. In terms of a film camera it is the technique whereby a given frame is exposed twice, often to two different scenes. The trick on film is that since the frame will be exposed twice each exposure has to be half as long a usual (with some exceptions to that rule). However, I think everyone submitting to the PCA group these days is working with a digital camera; we have it much easier - grab to frames that might look good together and layer them in Photoshop (or GIMP or whatever your software of choice is) using either multiply mode or by altering the opacity of one or both of the frames. |
