| 説明 | Picture a week 2011: Week 15I find public restrooms to be an interesting place to photograph. Some might find this to be somewhat disturbing, but there are often interesting things to find in these rooms. Bathrooms are especially interesting in New York City, ranging from an unsanitary after thought to an artistic expression in the form of tile and porcelain. This isn't really any of these. This is a chinese restaurant in Whippany, NJ. Chinese restaurants are famous for their inappropriate handwritten "engrish" signs. Such a sign was missing from this establishment, but I find this random bit of "artwork" hanging on the wall to have a unintended relevance to the urinal it hangs above.Nikon D700 @ISO3200 with Nikon 16-35mm f/4 at 30mm and f/4. |
