| 説明 | Dominika Bajguz, High School StudentSacred Heart AcademyDominika Bajguz is a senior at Vinal Tech High School who has a passion for biolgy and research. This past summer Dominika Bajguz worked as an intern researcher at the Boyer Center for Molecular Medicine, an interdepartmental research institute affiliated with the Yale University School of Medicine. Over the course of six weeks Dominika completed research that will be featured in internationally renowned scientific journals by the principal investigator for whom she worked. Dominika’s research focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms of eukaryotic cells in order to better comprehend the nature of certain genetic disorders in the future. Dominika has been a high honors student since her freshman year, while also a varsity athlete (and captain) of the track and cross country teams. |
