| 説明 | (I hope this picture makes up for the duplicate below)- Chiang Mai, ThailandA bit out of chronological order here, but after hitchhiking a 3-hour ride in Thailand with a super awesome truck driver, I was dropped off about 4km's from the center of Chiang Mai, where I was headed for. As the clouds rolled over, I ducked under a shelter and watched the rain explode everywhere! I'm used to a 30 minute rain back home every once in a while, but I found myself chillaxing with a bag of shrimp flavoured chips for over and hour! No worries when you don't actually have anywhere too specific to be anytime soon.Just to give ya a little smile, a couple minutes after the rain stopped I asked a cop how much further to go until the center (in Thai!), and he ended up giving me a ride. What made it actually cool was that he had a motorcycle and I had a 15kg bag. Not the smoothest ride I've been on. Swerving through traffic like that only happens either by asking a cop for directions or for selling crack on the streets. yummy vignetting :)peace! |
