| 説明 | This late-afternoon photo may be of a father and son learning to play hockey at the Northbrook skating rink. Richard's is in the background. The ice is located where the former Bank of Montreal was situated (now the Move Better and ReMax Realty office) at the corner of Peterson Road and Highway 41.The man in this photo is Ted Courneya. He and his brother Vern owned the Northbrook Hotel from 1946 to 1951, when they sold it to Joe and Madeline Bolton.Ted had two sons, so these boys are likely Courneya boys.
