| 説明 | Steve Manders created this diorama as a follow-up to his research on the Gilmour Lumber Co. tramway, which ran from Mazinaw to Pringle Lake.Logs floated down the Mazinaw, we loaded onto the steam-driven jackladder up the incline, then loaded onto horse-drawn carts. The horses pulled the carts on a rail bed to Pringle Lake, offloaded and returned. Logs from Pringle Lake were floated to Skootamatta Lake and eventually to the Gilmour Lumber Mill in Trenton, Ontario.Mr. Manders donated the completed diorama to the Cloyne Pioneer Museum, and it is on permanent display.Part of the Steve Manders AlbumNote: Commercial use of this image is prohibited without CDHS permission.
