| 説明 | Here is my snack as I take in the Seoul cityscape from N-Seoul Tower: a can of Heineken beer from the Netherlands, and a box of Anna's biscuits from Sweden.My travels had taken me to the Netherlands in 1999, though it turned out to be an utter nightmare. Sweden was not on my travel map in 2008 and still hasn't been covered yet.Oddly enough, I once tried to do a Google Images search on my favorite singer-songwriter Anna Nalick (who is from my local area, Southern California) - and somehow this image was one of the results! The reason was that it was retrieved from my blog, which had discussed both my Seoul travels AND my penchant for (and one meeting, in Los Angeles in 2006, with) Anna Nalick. At least I *was* listening away to Anna Nalick as I was riding Seoul's subway trains - though the much-anticipated sophomore album of hers, due at this time, would never materialize, and I wouldn't even find out the reason why until mid-2010. (The album, in very modified form, would finally materialize in June 2011 - and Anna and I would be on a first-name basis by then.) |
