| 説明 | The Ouse Valley Viaduct holds up the Brighton Main Line (which links London to Brighton). It was built in the 1830s, and this arch shape helped reduced the number of bricks required (guessed to be 11 million). The cost comes out to just $5 million by current rates, which isn't a lot. It's still old though, and there are signs warning of falling masonry when trains pass overhead. This is a popular spot for Instagrammers who can often be seen nearby just outside the muddy field in their finest disposable fashion preparing for a photo session.
