| 説明 | Not the best photograph I have taken however we spotted this Hare occasionally during the winter months and assumed it was just in its winter coat however we noticed it again the other evening and getting a better view of it it does appear to be partially leucistic Leucism in brown hares (Lepus europaeus) in the UK results in a pale or washed-out appearance, sometimes described as a "ghost" or "blue" hare. This condition occurs when there is a lack of melanin production, causing a reduction in pigmentation. Unlike albinism, leucism does not affect eye color, so leucistic hares will have normal brown or amber eyes. Dumfries & GallowayScotland |
