| 説明 | In 1923, FN brought out a new unit construction single that quickly usurped the popularity of their four cylinder powerplant. Initially, the singles were popular with sportier riders, but FN wanted more of a standard model – hence the M70. In 1927, two French army officers (along with a Belgian mechanic) rode across the Sahara desert with M70s over a three-month period, covering just under 4,000 miles – this led to the nickname of “Sahara”.En 1923, FN lança un nouveau monocylindre qui détrôna rapidement la popularité de son moteur quatre cylindres. Initialement, les monocylindres étaient appréciés des pilotes plus sportifs, mais FN souhaitait un modèle plus standardisé ; d'où la M70.
