| 説明 | Had a day in Canterbury, but tok the train for a change - and saw new parts of the city. Including this grade II listed house. Apparently the front it dates from 1774, but there are older parts behind. Now a private home, it was once a pub: The Bell. but I haven't been able to find out about the name and curious shield with 3 hands - or are they claws?Don Jon may relate to the castle, which is close by. |
