| 説明 | Let me tell you about one of the most wonderful museums we’ve ever visited: The Last Supper Museum in Douglas, Arizona. Douglas is a border town with Mexico, and most of the population is on the other side of the border (Agua Prieta). But with Art Car World and the Last Supper Museum – epic new museums indeed – Douglas is well-positioned to attract other grassroots art.A common practice in science is to “fix” certain variables – hold them constant – while you vary others to see their impact. In most museums, we fix the time period and maybe the style and show variation within it. But The Last Supper Museum instead fixes the topic in a very constrained way – The Last Supper painting by Leonardo da Vinci. On top of this foundation, we see variations in style, culture, intent, and form/media.This first set of images is at the beginning of the museum.
