| 説明 | This was the very first Nimrod aircraft, converted from a de Havilland Comet 4. She first flew on 23 May 1967 and was used extensively for testing, until 4 May 1982 when she landed, for the final time at Woodford Airfield, near Manchester. The aircraft was broken up, but the cockpit was retained and found its' way to the Cornwall Aviation Heritage Centre. That Centre closed in 2023 and the cockpit can now be found at the Boscombe Down Aviation Collection, which is at Old Sarum airfield, near Salisbury. That's where I took my photos, inside and out. |
