| 説明 | Almost 3 years since my last desk shot. Overall layout has pretty much stayed the same since my first desk shot back in 2014. Main computer hasn't changed since my 2022 shot. Still the M1 Mac Studio. Have been considering an upgrade to the latest though. But since 2022, most of the changes have been to the peripherals & accessories.First off, all 3 displays have been updated. It's actually kind of hard to tell but while I used to have a 27" main display flanked by 2x portrait 24" displays, I now use a 32" 4K main display (LG 32UP83A-W), still flanked by 2x 24" displays but newer ones (Dell U2415) that have a much thinner bezel than their predecessors. The main display is now also mounted on a monitor arm clamped to the back of the desk which helped save some desk space, mainly cause the U-shaped stand that the LG display originally comes w/is trash.Then I picked up an Epomaker P75 mechanical keyboard w/their Zebra switches which works pretty well for the most part. There are some issues every now and then that can be chalked up to the low price point but otherwise I like it quite a bit. I also swapped out the keycaps w/one who's color scheme I like better (red samurai doubleshots) and overall I love the clickety-clackety of the Zebra switches. It's not overly loud but still sounds very satisfying.I also added a display light bar to my setup. It's actually an architect desk lamp that I've clamped to the desk behind the main display. Try as I might I couldn't find an actual lightbar that was big enough for a 32" display. But this lamp was the perfect size and works absolutely great. You can also see that I have a Lume Cube desk lamp clamped to the right side of the desk. I actually picked that up for free before on our local FB share & swap group. It doesn't get much use now that I have the architect lamp but it's too nice to get rid of and I don't really need it anywhere else so I keep it there for now.Lastly I bought an adjustable iPad arm mount that I've clamped to the left side of the desk. Took a bit to figure out an easy way to get my 12.9" iPad Pro in & out of it but it's all good now. Very convenient for when I need to refer to something on my iPad (or play games on it).And that's pretty much it. I don't anticipate (m)any new changes in the near future. As I mentioned earlier I would like to update my Mac Studio but w/a kid now college bound, that may have to be put on the backburner for awhile. |
