| 説明 | A visit to the fabulous Brooklands Museum near Weybridge. Speed is the key - whether on land or in the air - with beautiful vintage racing machines and a great aircraft collection reflecting the Vickers Aircraft heritage of the site. It was really good to be able to go into my favourite airliners - BAC 1-11, Viscount, VC10 (x2) and Vanguard (What a treasure that is!) as part of the admission, but I don;'t get why they want an extra seven quid on top of £25 entrance for their Concorde? It was sold out for "tours" anyway, but as I have already been through 11 Concordes and a Concordski, I was not too bothered! And anyway, I prefer the genuine Vickers stuff. |
