| 説明 | Built in 1930, this Art Deco-style building was designed by Leichenko and Esser for Sol Goldberg, and was later home to the Morris B. Sachs Department Store. The building is clad in limestone with metal spandrel panels featuring decorative reliefs, one-over-one windows, Chicago windows on the second floor, a modified first floor with large bays, and a wedge-shaped footprint. The building is a contributing structure in the Milwaukee-Diversey-Kimball Historic District, designated a Chicago Landmark in 2005, and today houses the Hairpin Arts Center. |
