Admiral Mullen participated in the farewell event for the Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Gabi Ashkenazi.This is Admiral Mullen's fifth visit to Israel, during which he met the President, His Excellency Shimon Peres, the Prime Minister, Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu, Minister of Defense, Mr. Ehud Barak, the outgoing Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Gabi Ashkenazi, and the incoming Chief of the General Staff, Major General Benny Gantz.Admiral Mullen was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Deborah Mullen, as well as other senior officers from the Joint Chiefs of Staff. |
