| 説明 | Mission Pala is the companion mission to the much larger San Luis Rey here in Oceanside. It's about 25 miles inland on Highway 76, in the beautiful Pala Valley on the way to Palomar Mountain.Some California missions are big tourist attractions. Pala is not; yesterday afternoon I was the only 'tourist' there.
