| 説明 | I'm generally not an advocate of POETS day, and indeed working in a school that runs to a rigorous timetable, I rarely get the chance to execute it. In the holidays however, there are exceptions, and as I arrive VERY early (usually the first on site in the hols) my conscience was clear. This afternoon saw a walk along the canal from around Aintree up to Brewery Lane and back. You might think that this doesn't look very canal like, and you'd be right. In a piece of interesting waterways management the canal actually crosses the River Alt. I never thought I'd see anyone trying their luck fishing in the Alt, but this heron clearly thinks it must be worth a go! |
