説明Built in 1914-1918, this French Gothic Revival-style building was designed by Marcus T. Reynolds for the Delaware and Hudson Railroad Company to serve as the railroad’s headquarters. The building is clad in rough-hewn stone with decorative tracery, a hipped and gabled roof, multiple towers, decorative metal cresting, decorative pinnacles and reliefs, gothic arched bays, and wall dormers. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, and is a contributing structure in the Downtown Albany Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, and increased to its present size in 2022. The building today houses part of the State University of New York (SUNY) office complex.
