| 説明 | State Rep. Edgar Gonzalez---These images are from a press conference and vigil 3/31/25 in Berwyn for brothers Jose Gregorio Gonzalez and Jose Alfredo Pacheco. Pacheco is a dialysis patient whose brother and planned kidney donor, Gonzalez, was abducted by ICE on March 3 and is in great danger of being deported now that deportation flights to Venezuela have resumed. Without his brother’s kidney donation, Pacheco will likely have to wait 4-5 years for a kidney. Gonzalez was in the US for the express purpose of taking care of his brother and donating his kidney, and had been granted humanitarian parole before being placed in an Indiana detention center last month. The vigil and presser were organized by The Resurrection Project and Berwyn-Cicero Rapid Response Network |
