| 説明 | Nevada, USA. About 120 miles from Las Vegas and not far from Death Valley, this was a gold mining town for a short time.Once the town was bustling but when the deposits had been worked out the town was abandoned and left to crumble. Now it's maintained by the US authorities as a tourist attraction. The store in my picture was struck by lightning a year after my visit and burned to the ground. In the background (right) we can just see some of the crumbling buildings |
