| 説明 | walled garden at Rowallaneat Rowallanebig shrub in the walled garden. It was buzzing with white tail and buff tail queen bumbles, honey bees and Eristalis flies today. Great to see. I think I saw about 20 separate queen bumbles. There were about 8 on this one Stachyuris at one stage but it is a really big specimen.I had sort of assumed that bumble bee numbers would be way down this spring because of the awful year last year - I assumed that there would have been much less queens produced - seems amazing that there are so many over-wintered queens now |
