説明 | Built in 1897-1899, this Richardsonian Romanesque Revival-style building was designed by Spier and Rohns for the congregation of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, founded in 1835. The building is clad in rough-hewn stone with a cross-gable terra cotta tile roof, roman arched bays, a front rose window below a statuary niche, cylindrical corner towers with conical copper roofs, a rectilinear towers with a copper-clad pyramidal hipped roofs, stained glass windows, and a semi-circular rear apse. The building today remains in use as the home of the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. |
