| 説明 | Built in 1928, this Art Deco-style building was designed by Ellerbe and Company for the Mayo Clinic to serve as a heating plant for the hospital campus, serving the original clinic building, as well as the Plummer Building. The building is characterized by its red brick exterior, stone trim, piers flanking the window bays of the front facade, large concrete and brick smokestack, decorative reliefs, and decorative patterned brickwork. The building is characteristic of the historic early 20th Century buildings that can be found on the campus of the Mayo Clinic. |
