| 説明 | From 1941, Mercury shared bodies with the Ford, lowering production costs. The new 1941 Mercury Eight had more interior space and was four inches longer. It featured a pointed nose and bullet shaped parkers on top of the fenders.1942; a flatter nose and a new full width grille with horizontal bars, rectangular parkers. Production was paused during WW II; 1943-45. 1946; Production resumed; new vertical bar grille with painted surround.1947; Chrome grille surround, and 'Mercury' on the side of the hood. 1948 Mercury Eights were identical to 1947.Models available in 1946 were; 2 and 4 door Sedan, 2 door Coupe and Convertible and 4 door Wagon. Australia produced a coupe utility.Engine; 100hp 239 cu in Flathead V8 |
