| 説明 | The Javelin was a 'Pony' Car built by the American Motor Corporation (AMC) from 1967-74, only available as a 2 door, 4 seat Hardtop. (the 2 seat version was the AMX). The 1970 Javelins were a one-year-only design featuring a new front-end design with a broad ‘twin-venturi’ front grille incorporating the headlamps. It got a longer hood with twin rectangular stripped bright trim pieces or with a prominent center bulge with non-functional dual air intake trim or a functional Ram Air system with the Go-Package, the ‘Go’ option got the 360 or 390.The Javelin was also assembled from CKD kits in Australia by AMI in Victoria. The right hand drive dash, interior, soft trim, etc were locally manufactured. They were marketed under the historic Rambler name, this is one of 90 Rambler Javelins built by AMI in South Melbourne in 1968.1970 Engines were 232 and 252 6 cyls and 304, 360 and 390 ci in V8s |
