| 説明 | After lunch we visit Amos Rex, the nearby art museum, to see the current exhibition which was from a Palestinian/Danish artist called Larissa Sansour who is primarily based in the UK.To be honest I didn't love it, but that was more about the exhibition than the work. Sansour is primarily a film maker, and the majority of the exhibits were video installations of films, ranging from five minutes to thirty, and that's too long really to pick up on a rolling programme. There also, although minimised, noise crosstalk between the installations.The image above was a physical installation which was part of a piece called "As if no misfortune had occurred in the night" which was a 20 minute filmed Opera followed by this piece in which logs are suspended over water, evoking dismembered bodies.Light, it wasn't. |
