| 説明 | Thankful for my life list.For those that may not know, a life list is a list of birds that I have seen and identified. I slowly add to it and love when I get to see a bird that I havn't seen before.This is a hawk, and of course it can't be easy. This is an adult hawk, either a Cooper's Hawk or it is a Sharp Shinned Hawk. The way you can tell the difference is in the size, the head shape and color and the tails size and shape. I can't tell with this photo I took at this angle. Have any idea?I stopped at a Target store on my way home from the doctor. As I was leaving this hawk flew up onto the side of the building. So I stopped and was only able to get one pic before he flew off again. At the time I assumed it was an adult cooper's hawk which I have not seen an adult, just juvenille's. Adding it to the list whether it is cooper's or sharp shinned. |
