| 説明 | Built in 1930, this Art Deco-style building was designed by A. Keymar & G.W. Mack for the Catholic Knights Insurance Society to serve as a residential hotel. The building was converted into a dormitory and office building for Marquette University in 1960. The building is clad in red brick with stone trim, decorative geometric trim, one-over-one windows, a stone base, large bays at the first floor, and a light well on the east facade. The building today serves as a dormitory for Marquette University, known as Carpenter Tower. |
