| 説明 | An out-of-focus and close-up view of a coarse-grit diamond sharpening stone (used for knives) that was placed in direct sunlight. I am not sure what caused these bands color, including black. Refraction? specular reflections? Both? However, I speculate that diffraction caused the subtle concentric rings seen near the outer edge of each circular blob. This is an Atoma 140-grit stone. Atoma arranges their diamonds in a hexagonal pattern of clumps, and hints of that pattern are seen here. This view is about 17mm wide, giving a macro magnification about 1:1 for this Micro Four Thirds sensor. |
