| 説明 | Built in 1934, this Art Deco-style building was designed by Herbert Tullgren for the Milwaukee-Western Fuel Company. The building is clad in buff brick with orange and black terra cotta trim, large semi-circular pilasters flanking the window bays on the principal facades, semi-circular oriel windows with flagpoles at the end bays of the second floor of the front facade, above the building’s entrance doors and semi-circular canopies, decorative terra cotta relief panels at the spandrels between the first and second floor windows, which depict various industrial scenes, and a concrete base. The building today houses commercial offices on the second floor and a restaurant on the first floor. |
