| 説明 | Built in 1914-1915, this English Gothic Revival-style building was designed by Weber, Werner, and Adkins for the congregation of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, founded in 1892. The building is clad in rough-hewn stone with a rectilinear tower above the crossing of the nave and transepts, gothic arched bays, stained glass windows, gabled roofs, and a parish hall wing to the east of the sanctuary. The building is a contributing structure in the East End Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, and increased to its present size in 2014. Since 2013, the building has housed the congregation of Riverview Presbyterian Church, which subsequently changed its name to St. Paul Presbyterian Church after it purchased the building from the shrinking Lutheran congregation that called it home for nearly a century. |
