| 説明 | Depending on your personal journey and circumstances, 2024 could either be a great year or ending up being a complete nightmare.For me on a personal level, I have to admit, on the record......My 2024 wasn't all that great.If getting laid off after Mardi Gras, then the entire festival gets thrown into chaos, first with the cancellation of Fair Day and then parade night gets put in the can due to a tragedy hitting too close to home was a sign of things to come, then, they were right.Not long after, my health decided to start taking a nosedive and my ticker started to play up, despite being fit and healthy, the first of many family hereditary health problems decided to creep up. (remember dearies, being in a CT machine is NOT fun!)...and to cap it all off, the area which I'm living in is starting to become very rough and very dangerous, resulting in incidents in the community and now requiring security (and support teams) everywhere I go.So yeah, that pretty much sums up my year as a whole. But then again, I've been through a couple of gyprock walls, but that's nothing new.As they say, a new year, often brings a new beginning.Pending no other health issues (fingers crossed), 2025 will also mark the year that I begin the process of commencing hormone replacement therapy and finally begin a journey to become "me".There may also be a relocation on the horizon as well as I am in the early stages of returning "home" to where it all began.I wish you all the best in the upcoming New Year ahead. |
