| 説明 | Raleigh Battery was constructed between 1890 and 1894 in defence of the Devonport Dockyard. It was equipped with teo 10-inch BL guns, mounted on what are believed to be two proptype mountings; one from the Elswick Ordnance Company (EOC) and the second from the Royal Carriage Department (RCD). The fort was in use until 1908 before the guns were removed in 1910 and the land finally sold off in 1946. |
