| 説明 | beside the pond,I have some already rotten wood on the bottom and a cavity stuffed with twigs inside. The logs are Damson (thanks Storm Darragh!), Osier willow and ash. Should be something simple but effective for invertebrates and what eats them as the wood rots and the vegetation grows through.I like to do a bit of wildlife gardening. Hard to know how effective/useful it is in the great scheme of things but it definitely makes me feel better.This is in the same quarter acre old veg garden as the last picture.
