| 説明 | On the highest station of the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn, 2033 m ü.M./6670 ft ASL. The pass road is closed, and so are the restaurants. The winter season has not yet started and the cable cars are only in operation for testing purposes. The new Orion rack and pinion multiple units of MGB run over the pass. The trains cross here. And there are no raised platforms. A HGm 2/2 shunts a tower wagon. There is still little snow. Snow guns are in operation in some areas. Switzerland, November 29, 2024. (4:10)Udate: These multiple units are not as safe against derailment in heavy snow as the old trains with the heavy locomotives. On December 23, 2024 in Tschamut-Selva: An Orion train of the line R45 was raised on snow over a switch and damaged it. The recovery operations and repair work will last all week until at least Saturday early morning. |
