| 説明 | My father, Allen H. Searls, then 22 and a "bridgeman" rigging cables on the future George Washington Bridge, shot these photos of the ZMC-2, an experimental airship not flown out of Lakehurst until August 25, 1929. Since there still appear to be leaves on trees atop the Palisades, which is in some of these shots, I assume they were taken between August and October of that year. |
