| 説明 | As we drive back to Srinagar from Sonmarg, I think back at that section of the road that had been carbed through a large patch of frost and snow. You might recall that our jeep driver had me pose atop that patch of frost and that's where we had spotted the last village in Kashmir. (see previous pictures earlier in this album). I had been fascinated by a small patch of frost in Pahalgam (see my Pahalgam album) but here there was a whole sea of frost, snow and ice- in fact our road ahead has been cut through all this frost.
