| 説明 | Looking good in the winter sun...I must say I think the whole thing looks great, though I'm not entirely convinced about the historical precedent for that balcony, and it's a shame the cement render wasn't replaced with lime. But I agree that the cost to do that on what is actually rather a large surface area on a relatively small building would be prohibitive... I think it's the stark contrast between this and the salvaged pantiles that jars slightly.I would also add that I'm not particularly looking forward to the ogee-roofed pavilion or the mock-Georgian-made-out-of-breeze-block thing on the side... But I keep telling myself 'at least it's not lying empty and abandoned'... |
