| 説明 | Manganese (Mn) is # 25 on the Periodic Table of Elements. Elemental manganese is a silvery-gray metal. It occurs in many minerals, including dozens of manganese oxides (e.g., pyrolusite, MnO2). Nodules rich in Mn oxides are abundant on many deep seafloors - these are called "pelagites". Another significant Mn mineral is rhodochrosite, which is pinkish to reddish manganese carbonate, MnCO3. In South Africa, Mn ores are mined from the Kalahari Manganese Field, the largest terrestrial manganese deposit on Earth.Twenty-eight isotopes of manganese are known - two occur naturally. Manganese-55 is the most common variety. Manganese-53 is radioactive and only occurs in trace amounts.-----------------------------Info. at:en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manganeseanden.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isotopes_of_manganeseandwww.flickr.com/photos/jsjgeology/albums/72177720302984993andwww.flickr.com/photos/jsjgeology/albums/72157647223929062/andwww.flickr.com/photos/jsjgeology/albums/72157648118101945/andwww.flickr.com/photos/jsjgeology/albums/72157646451886569 |
