| 説明 | A final selfie against the Clock Tower (known in the local vernacular as Ghanta Ghar) on the Lal Chowk (which translates as Red Square) in Srinagar, Kashmir, India. The Lal Chowk was until 1992 not a safe place to hang about due to sporadic terrorist activity from across the border. And although the Lal Chowk has always existed in Srinagar, the clock tower at Lal Chowk is a comparatively more recent addition and was built by Bajaj Electricals in 1980. More notes about the Lal Chowk appear elsewhere in this album. It was difficult to get a selfie at this spot due to the endless stream of tourists vying with each other to get a selfie of themselves and each of their family members!
