| 説明 | Built in 1927, this Renaissance Revival-style building was designed by John E. Wicks to serve as the Lutheran-affiliated Columbia Hospital. The building features a red brick exterior with terra cotta trim, one-over-one windows, decorative buff brick banding, a front portico with arched openings, urns on the parapet, and brick columns, and a simple cornice at the base of the building’s parapet. The building is a contributing structure in the Shively–McClure Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. The building today houses the Clatsop Care Center, a health and rehabilitation center. |
