| 説明 | This Pyrrocoma- or Solidago-like species of the Asteraceae tribe Astereae is locally abundant in the understory along the Lake Fork trail below Heart Lake on the way to Cabresto Lake, Latir Peak Wilderness, Taos County, New Mexico. This species grows in patches suggesting a rhizomatous growth habit. The small flowering heads, about 10 mm long and 5-6 mm wide are loosely clustered with clusters on each flowering stem averaging about six heads. Plants are glabrate to sparsely hairy but the inflorescence region is covered in glandular hairs. From FNA online: Oreochrysum is separated from Solidago on the basis of its stipitate-glandular vestiture, large heads [relative to those of Solidago] in strongly corymbiform arrays, herbaceous phyllaries, prominent rays, narrow disc corollas with relatively short lobes, linear-lanceolate style-branch appendages, and large cypselae. It has no apparent close relatives within Solidago. |
