| 説明 | Pro-Palestinian demonstrators, students and faculty members have set up tents on the front lawn at King's College Circle at the University of Toronto since May 2, 2024.They demand that the University of Toronto to:1) disclose its investments in and divest from companies connected to the Israeli military2) cut ties with Israeli academic institutions that operate in occupied territories.The university administrator has made some promises to consider those demands as well as made ambiguous commitments.The University of Toronto issued a notice of trespass to the pro-Palestinian encampment on its campus on May 24, giving protesters until Monday (May 27) morning to vacate the area. |
