| 説明 | Built in 1912-1913, this Renaissance Revival-style building was constructed for Sam Zerilla to serve as a live performance and nickelodeon movie theater known as the Daisy Theatre. The building features a stucco-clad front facade with arched gabled parapets, a recessed entrance bay with a half-dome ceiling and two entrances flanking a ticket booth, Roman lattice windows on the second floor, decorative trimwork, and decorative rosettes, cartouches, and a festoon. The building is a contributing structure in the Beale Street Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places and designated a National Historic Landmark in 1966. Today, the building serves as a concert hall and live performance venue. |
