| 説明 | My meal arrived at last- a delicious banana leaf south Indian thali meal. Sadly, my stomach acting up, which is why I had decided to stop by for this traditional south Indian meal. Still, despite the thrill of visiting Komala Vilas in Singapore after 14 long years, and having braved the line to get here, I could not do full justice to my dinner, due to the said stomach issues. I am at the legendary Komala Vilas ethnic Indian restaurant in the little India district in Singapore. Komala Vilas is one of the oldest ethnic Indian restaurants in Singapore, having started off way back in 1947. The restaurant is renowned for quality and their modest prices and is very popular with tourists, as well as with the Indian, Malay and Chinese residents of Singapore. (Singapore, Sept. 2023) |
