| 説明 | Far view of the Menara Taming Sari observation tower from atop Bukit Melaka (previously St. Paul's Hill) in the UNESCO World Heritage listed town of Malacca/ Melaka in Malaysia. This view is from the panorama point at the rear of the ruins of the Church of St. Paul atop Bukit Melaka (previously St. Paul's Hill) in the historic quarter of Malacca/ Melaka in Malaysia. I say rear of the church as I had climbed up the hill through the A Famosa gate. In you had chosen to take the much more steep set of stairs next to the Stadthuys museum, this would have been the first thing you had seen. Be that is it may, this photo point is said to give good panoramic views of the historic quarter of Malacca/ Melaka with a view of the sea as well. It's a good point, but always hogged by selfie seeking tourists. For a much better and decidedly uninterrupted panorama, I'd recommend you take a ride up this Menara Taming Sari gondola as I did later in the day.
