| 説明 | Stadthuys Museum Pic. 9 of 14: Explantory note about the expensive tastes of the Peranakans in the Stadthuys history and ethnography museum on the historic Dutch Square in the UNESCO World Heritage listed town of Malacca/ Melaka in Malaysia. The sign is fairly self explanatory if viewed in full screen or expanded mode. I did not photography the historic artifacts as I'd done so in another museum about the Peranakans in Penang, Malaysia a few years prior. The expensive tastes of the Peranakans were all about superior glass pieces (curios, mostly), upmarket rosewood furniture, several white goods of the time etc. Notes about the Dutch Square and Stadthuys appeared earlier in this album.
